Four leading broadcasters have come forward to waive off all tariffs and charges for a period of two months, informed the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF). Sony Pal, Star Utsav, Zee Anmol and Colors Rishtey will be available to all the viewers

Yasir Mirza will take charge as Head of Diversity and Inclusion for BBC Studios and he will devise and implement a new strategy to improve representation across the business on and off-screen.

Mirza was previously with Channel 4, where he drove a diversity strategy for the broadcaster encompassing and also led diversity and inclusion for the global philanthropic organisation Open Society Foundations.

Mirza said, “I’m hugely excited to be joining BBC Studios. It’s an opportunity to work with teams of the highest calibre who make content for global audiences, and I’m looking forward to helping the business improve its representation of the world we live in today.”
